Tension, freshness, and precision
Tension, freshness, and precision
The Selmer is not simply a variation of the Série Miquel; it is a different interpretation of wood. Composed mainly of French oak from exceptional terroirs, the blend is completed by from the Black Forest (Germany, Switzerland, Austria).
It draws its uniqueness from a longer and slower toast (≈3h), enriched by a specific watering technique that acts as an aromatic fine-tuning. Here, water serves not only to soften but to clarify the toast, imparting purity and tracing a sharper line.
A musical identity
Its name pays homage to Selmer guitars, known for their singular vibration and balance between resonance and emotion. The Selmer imparts verticality and aromatic precision to the wine. It defines itself as an architect barrel, shaping the palate and giving rhythm to the wine.
This barrel reveals, structures, and paces the wine with finesse. It traces a fresh, taut line on white wines, and offers depth, floral notes, and a fresh evergreen finish on reds.
